The Bataleon Tornado x Beyond Medals Snowboard, is a true co-pilot that keeps up when terrain gets aggressive and conditions get unpredictable. The new tri-radial shape and SideKick 2.0 exist to give it a wider sweet spot, quick and playful when you want to mess around, but stable and locked-in the moment you decide to open it up. With a mid-stiff flex, it's built for riders who want one board that can handle it all.

Rocker Type:

Medium Camber: Camber profiles are defined from low to high. Higher camber make for more dynamic boards that need to be ridden more aggressively to get maximum performance. Lower camber boards are smoother on lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail. higher is not always better...

Flex Rating: 8 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)

Shape:

3D Directional Twin: Designed for ultimate versatility. Nose is just longer than the tail for carving and float. 3D Specifically tuned for directional twins, this adds extra side-base uplift at the widest contact points of the nose and tail.

SideKick™: By increasing the sidebase uplift just beyond the widest points of the nose and tail, SideKick™ gives the tips of the snowboard a hull-like shape, improving float in deep snow and enabling the board to roll smoothly and quickly from edge to edge.

Core:

Ultra Light Core: A 70/30 Paulownia and Poplar blend that offers awesome strength to weight.

Laminates:

Carbon Stringers: Carbon is incredibly lightweight and delivers explosive pop, quick edge response, and exceptional dampening at high speeds. By incorporating carbon fiber stringers into the board’s construction, we can fine-tune the flex and elevate your ride to the next level. Bataleon strategically place carbon stringers in specific areas of the board to fine-tune the feel of each model.

D.R.S.T. Super Tubes: Dual Radial Super Tubes, comparable to DST but with four extra Super Tubes (six in total) that run parallel to the radius of the board and provide extra power to the edges.

Tri-Ax Laminate: Bataleon's three-way fiberglass weave is light, strong and crazy responsive. It is used to beef up the flex pattern on more aggressive boards.

Base:

Ultra Glide S: Premium, 7000-grade sintered base reserved for Bataleon's high-end models.

Additional Features:

Step Down Rails: This topsheet 3D effect features a slight taper of the deck along the top of the sidewall. This reduces the top-profile, saving weight and adding more precision to your carves.
